Matariki Day

Khaing-May was fascinated by the texture of the clay and tried her best to mould it into the shape of a banana to create a mini waka and then she enjoyed decorating it with small colured stones and pebbles. This was a great sensory experience as the clay went from soft to hard and will need time to dry in the sun.

My trip to Stardome!

Khaing-May enjoyed travelling by bus with her Dad to Cornwall Park in Greenlane to visit the observatory. She was chosen to be the moon in a role play about how it rotates around the earth and the sun to give us night and day. Khaing-May also joined in the learning activities and had fun at the playground with her friends! What did you like best?
